Il nous accompagne entre sites laissés pour compte et rêves parasites, plongeant nos sens dans mille lieux où réécrire notre place et nos positions instables face à la bizarrerie du quotidien.

Martin invites us to immerse ourselves in his universe made of intimacy, explorations, and a collection of questioning; the building blocks of his creation.
He takes us into discarded sites and intrusive dreams, immersing our senses into a thousand places where we get to rewrite our own part, our unstable condition, when faced with the oddities of life.

We worden ondergedompeld in zijn universum die met een flinke dosis intimiteit, bewuste (of onbewuste) reizen en een bonte verzameling vraagstellingen, de bouwstenen van zijn creatieve werk omvat. 
Martin vergezelt ons door verlaten oorden en parasitaire dromen, waarbij onze zintuigen ondergedompeld worden in de duizenden bestemmingen die onze rol en onze positie, onstandvastig in het aanzicht van de vreemdheid van het leven, kunnen herschrijven.

Martin Wautié est un artiste multidisciplinaire, il vit actuellement aux Ateliers Mommen où il est résident et bénévole. Il use aussi bien de la vidéo, du son, de l’écriture que des nouvelles technologies pour créer. Martin explore dans son quotidien des lieux chargés de tension et des moments d’intimité qui l’interrogent quant à sa propre implication. Il produit des pièces simples, et mêle dérision et honnêteté pour traduire son proche environnement.

Martin Wautié is a multidisciplinary artist, he currently lives at Ateliers Mommen where he is a resident and volunteer. He uses video, sound, writing and new technologies to create. In his daily life Martin explores places charged with tension and moments of intimacy which question him about his own entanglement. He produces simple pieces, and mixes derision and honesty to translate his own environment.

Martin Wautié is een multidisciplinaire kunstenaar, hij woont bij Ateliers Mommen, waar hij resident en vrijwilliger is. Hij werkt met video, geluid, geschreven tekst en nieuwe technologieën. Martin verkent in zijn dagelijkse leven geladen plekken en intieme momenten die zijn eigen verstrengeling bevragen. Hij maakt simple stukken die met eerlijkheid en scherpe humor zijn eigen omgeving weerspiegelen.
